Ik had niet verwacht dat de wereld er nu zo zou uitzien. Ik betaal graag met contant geld maar dat is nu al door meerdere winkels geweigerd. Belachelijk, want de kans op besmetting via contant geld is heel klein.

I totally agree with you about the value and benefits of cash (contant geld). It is very annoying that shops do not want to handle cash at the moment. I dare say it is illegal (onwettig)? Cash is still legal tender (wettig betaalmiddel) in Australia. Those shops obviously don't need your business - keep your cash for those shops who are struggling to stay financially viable.
